FTC v. Capital Home Advocacy Center, et. al.

Case Summary:

Pursuant to the Court Order entered on April 13, 2018 by the United States District Court, Central District of California, Southern Division, in the matter of the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, Plaintiff v. AMERICAN HOME SERVICING CENTER, LLC, CAPITAL HOME ADVOCACY CENTER, NATIONAL ADVOCACY CENTER, LLC, JAMIE ABURTO, MARCUS FIERRO, JR. EVE CHRISTINE RODRIGUEZ, AND SERGIO LORENZO RODRIGUEZ, Defendants, Krista L. Freitag was appointed Temporary Receiver for American Home Servicing Center, LLC, Capital Home Advocacy Center, National Advocacy Center, LLC, their subsidiaries and affiliates.

As a result of this FTC action, Capital Home Advocacy Center, National Advocacy Center, American Home Servicing Center, their principals, subsidiaries and affiliates are, pending a further order from the District Court, no longer accepting new customers nor will they be involved in providing services related to mortgage modifications.

Existing customers, please note that pursuant to the Court Order entered, a preliminary injunction hearing is scheduled for April 26, 2018. Pending the outcome of the hearing on April 26, 2018, the Receiver will be, among other things, reviewing existing customer files and will file a report with the District Court with her initial findings.
